Advertising Policy

This page explains how ads appear on PC Check Lab and how we keep them separate from our tools.

Last updated on 19 October 2026, this policy covers every ad on our site, where each hardware test stays free and advertising is how we pay for hosting, development and new tools without charging visitors.

How Ads Are Served

Ads on our site come from Google AdSense, which picks and delivers each ad automatically. We do not choose individual ads, and advertisers never receive data from any hardware test. Google and its partners may use cookies to show personalised ads when you allow them, as explained in our Cookie Policy.

Ads Stay Separate From Our Tools

We place ads around our content, never inside test areas, results panels or buttons that you need to run a test. Ads never change what our testers measure, and no advertiser can pay to influence results, rankings or recommendations on any page.

Editorial Independence

Our guides mention brands like Xbox, PlayStation, Logitech, Razer, NVIDIA and Shure only because readers use those products. No company pays us to appear in our content, and our Editorial Policy explains how we write and check every page.

Sponsored Content and Affiliate Links

PC Check Lab does not publish sponsored articles or use affiliate links today. If that ever changes, every sponsored page or affiliate link will carry a clear label, so you always know when we earn money from a mention.

Your Ad Choices

You can accept or reject advertising cookies in our cookie banner, and you can change that choice later through Cookie Settings in our footer. Rejecting advertising cookies means ads may still appear, although they will not be personalised. Our Privacy Policy explains how Google Consent Mode passes your choice to Google services.

Reporting a Problem Ad

If any ad looks misleading, offensive or unsafe, please email us at contact@gamepadtesters.com with a screenshot and the page where it appeared. We review every report and can block specific advertisers or ad categories through our AdSense account settings.
